JSC, JDC exams finally scrapped

The government has finally decided to scrap Junior School Certificate (JSC) and its equivalent Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given consent to discontinue the examinations for class-8 students from this year. Akther Unnesa Shiuly, Deputy Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division, confirmed the matter in a notice on Monday.
